As home inspectors, we get asked this question all the time. Everyone's situation is different and there is never a baseline response. It's very important to determine early on what your "deal breakers" are! There needs to be the conversation of how comfortable you are at DIY projects and/or how you plan to hire and interview contractors if and when they are required.
